‘The Clone Wars’ is one of our featured shows. We’re hoping to round up a few people who can occasionally contribute perspective (via an article/blog) on the shows – maybe a recent episode, future direction, plot shortcomings etc.

On your old “In Defence of Pirates” article I only just read last week, I think I first picked it up on Huff. Post and also found it linked to on other websites. And there isn’t much going pass my brain while reading through the comments on the various spots, “Stupid people are still allowed on the internet.”. “Oh my, the revolting bloodlust.”

I’m guessing Shales voted for the Dems, forgot about being critical (which is even more embarrassing for journo writing for a firm news outlet, because in the public eye the big boys are supposed to be more creditable) and takes Obama’s rhetoric on the nice sounding bits.
One may have voted for the Democrats, but that don’t make the party one chose all right and knowing. And when your government you voted for triangulates and backstabs the country, you more than have a right to get angry and hold them fully accountable as the candidates you did not vote for. Screw the honeymoon period; if the newly elected administration starts a war, or in this case the Obama administration escalating the situation in Afghanistan; you as a journalist MUST hold them accountable as you would any else whether you like them or not.

Now Allison, how are we going to get you onto Journal with Bill Moyers for some of this ‘debate’ thingo?
